Satterlee and Don Satterlee
Cheryl Satterlee has began working at
Alpacas By The Sea for over five years now. She and her husband Don joined our ranch in 1997 and they quickly realized that this was a fun and rewarding occupation for both of them. Cheryl has also been a bookkeeper and often supports our administrative aspects of our business. Aside supporting ABS, Don is also a manager in retail and food distribution. They both look forward to visiting their alpaca friends daily. Their favorite pastime is cria season, even as busy as it is. In fact, this is the fun time of the year for all of us at ABS. And, believe it or not, they know every animal by name and possibly their parents and grandparents too. Cheryl has most recently been supporting our ranch by providing new breeders with a husbandry workshop and halter training program for their new crias. Please look for additional details on the "Our Services", then go to
"Added Value Services" Cheryl has also begun exploring the fleece aspects of the alpaca business and will be defining additional channels of distribution for
Alpacas By The Sea fleece over the next year. They are one of our most valuable assets here at
Alpacas By The Sea. So, if you have a question about alpacas, and we are out, please do not hesitate to contact Cheryl at (new email address) or 650-728-8041. Cheryl is a wealth of information and she and Don are part of our family.
